Born and raised on Oahu, Derek currently resides in Kaimuki with his wife and two
daughters. He graduated from Kailua High School and the University of Hawaii at
Manoa Shidler College of Business in Finance.
Derek enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, sports, golf,
hiking, and hitting the newest eateries.

Community
Derek’s community involvements include working with the National Association of
Insurance & Financial Advisors and Na Koa: University of Hawaii Football Booster
Club. He was previously the President of the Rotary Club of West Honolulu. He holds the
Rotary 4-way test close to his heart when making personal and business decisions: Is it
the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it bring good will and better friendships?

Meghan graduated from Waiakea High School on the Big Island. She received her Bachelor’s
in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, Management, and Management
Information Systems from the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Shidler College of Business.
Her passion for learning and desire for continuous improvement led her to excel
academically and hold many active leadership roles in the professional fraternity, Delta
Sigma Pi. Her academic and extracurricular experiences have allowed her to develop the
skills necessary to be an effective communicator, efficient organizer and proactive
innovator. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, working out at the gym, and
spending time with friends and family.
